Son of PPP leader Faisal Raza Abidi along with a guard were torched by unknown assailants near Al Asif Square
Security guard of Presidents political advisor Faisal Raza Abidi set on fire along with his son in Suhrab Ghot area of Karachi, The Current affairs.Com reported on Friday. Talking to The Current affairs.com PPP leader Faisal Raza Abdi told that his police guard Naeem and his 5-year-old son were going on motorcycle when unidentified persons set them on fire. He said that they are shifted to hospital and their situation is stated to be critical. He said that Taliban and militants used to threaten him ten times a day. According to police, a burning tyre was hurled on the son of PPP Senator and his guard who were riding a motorcycle in Sohrab Goth area.
Abidi's son and the guard, who received burn injuries, were first shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital from where they were later taken to Agha Khan Hospital, sources said.
Both the injured are said to be critical condition.
