RANDY SHANNON

Miami has fired the coach Randy Shannon and it was hours after the Hurricanes ended a 7-5 regular one that began with some expectations that made people think that they would be having a championship at the end. Kirby Hocutt said that they have made a decision to seek new leadership for their squad and the expectations are to compete for the championships and come to top of college football world. Randy Shannon recently got a 4 year long extension a little before the 2010 season and the man was 28-22 in the four seasons along Miami. His performance cannot be called really well that’s perhaps the reason that he has got fired.

The fate of other members of Randy Shannon staff has not been determined till now and it shall be known pretty soon. Some of them shall be remaining with the Bowl game of the Miami team but not all of them

perhaps. Randy Shannon himself decided to fire both the coordinators in the past days and they were also accompanied by some the assistants as well. Hocutt had made this decision a short while after Miami team lost to South Florida during the overtime and this shows that decision is on basis of the bad performance. The coach that has been fired is expected to get around 1.5 million dollars as a buyout. The new coach shall determine the future of the whole squad and it shall really be changing a lot with the vision of new coach.
