Sri Lankan court postpones IUSF Convener's bail application till next year

A Sri Lankan court has today postponed the bail application of student union leader Udul Premaratne.

The Colombo High Court s postponed the bail application of Inter University Students' Federation (IUSF) Convener, Udul Premaratne till January 24, next year.

Premaratne is in remand for allegedly damaging public property during a protest in October organized by the IUSF where students had forcibly entered the Higher Education Ministry premises.
